SYRIE: LAZY LITA
The Lazy Lita 2016 collection celebrates SYRIE’s love for Lolita fashion, which is heavily inspired by the silhouettes of the Rococo period.
We must admit, our Lolitas are a little on the lazy side. They can’t be bothered to wear all the prints, colours, bows and frills found in many of the traditional Japanese Lolita styles. Lazy Litas can adapt their love of fashion into Canadian life while still feeling special every day. Drained of all colours, but one, to make mixing and matching much more fun!
Brooke Syrie [sigh-ree] moved from Sarnia to Toronto in 2003 to explore her childhood dream of being a fashion designer by attending George Brown College for Fashion Design then later Fashion Management. Through school she discovered an interest in modeling and sometimes found herself without appropriate clothing to drag along to shoots to fit the look, so Brooke started to make what she couldn’t source from other designers or afford to buy in an attempt to execute proposed themes the best she could. SYRIE was created after other models took interest in having her make them outfits too. Lazy Lita is one of four on going collections for SYRIE, she is also available for custom designs.
