She founded because she found a need for positive representation for ethnic and Muslim women in the media and fashion industry, with it she tries to tell the stories of those women who feel underrepresented otherwise. Black Orchid has found great popularity especially in Toronto because the brand’s values align with the city’s diversity and tolerance.
