This collection was created by turning the negative comments people say about my brand into content. After doing an interview on the news, people had a lot to say about genderless clothing. What do I have to say to those people? Thank you! And in case you were wondering…. It’s called unisex.
ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Cassandra Burrell is the owner and designer of slow fashion label, Cassandra Elizabeth. She has created a sustainable line of clothing for everyone while consciously choosing to have it ethically made in Toronto, Canada. “Our purpose is to bring more responsible clothing options to Canada. As a universal brand, we are committed to being seasonless, ageless and genderless. A good staple in your wardrobe should be universal.”
Cassandra always had a love for fashion and was passionate about creating garments from a young age. After realizing Fashion was going to be her career, she focused on her own line in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Cassandra began creating custom one of a kind dresses for women on the East coast while attending University.
Cassandra graduated from Applied Arts at University of New Brunswick, and New Brunswick College of Craft and Design. She then moved to Vancouver to gain inspiration from the West coast. Cassandra now lives in Toronto, ON where she continues to wholesale her line. Cassandra Elizabeth; the perfect collaboration of both beautiful coasts of Canada.
