ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Lococina was founded in 2006 – but Helena’s love for dramatic design and her dream to own her own label began years earlier while she watched her mother work backstage at a Russian operetta house. A job at a European textile factory to fund university contributed to her signature appreciation for fabric quality and structure. With her translation career firmly set aside, Helena works with her sister and business partner, Mila Mumuldi, to showcase Lococina’s bold and elegant fashion and jewelry collections in a sleek boutique in Ottawa’s heritage market district, as well as in Canadian and European Fashion weeks.
