Kaela Kay is a fashion brand that fuses African culture with modern style.  The emphasis is on the use of vibrant African prints designed into modern, classy and chic styles. With creative styles and flattering silhouettes, the Kaela Kay brand is eclectic, fun and a conversation starter.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Started in 2012 as a response to custom enquiries for creative styling, the brand has evolved into a recognized and staple brand in the community.  As Creative Director of the brand, I strive to offer styles and an experience exclusive to Kaela Kay.  By building a distinct and recognizable brand through aesthetic, imagery, and fashion story.  Never did I imagine the brand would be as successful as it is today and it goes to show the need for this kind of fashion.  From Toronto to LA to Africa, the brand has been displayed on many runway shows, events, magazines etc and continues to insert into the larger fashion scene. The brand being named after my 5 year old daughter Mikaela, part of my energy goes into ensuring girls and women have identity in my fashion; and to work hard and build a foundation for my children.
