WITH LOVE LINGERIE

This collection is called Poison. Poison was born when I looked back to some of my very early inspirations from when I first began expressing myself as a creative and sensual person.  There is a definite rebellious rock influence in this year’s work. Some pieces feature erotic drawings I’ve created as well as my signature use of sheer to highlight the female figure.  Self confidence, expression, edge and swagger infuse the collection with sexual energy.  It won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but it is absolutely my cup of poison.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Women’s wear designer, Carrie Russell, draws much of her inspiration from her background in Visual Art and English Literature.  She has worked with several North American lingerie companies, evening wear designers and private labels.  Her lingerie has also been featured in many magazine editorial, advertisements and television shows like Global’s original series Bomb Girls.

In 2010, she launched “With Love Lingerie,” a lingerie company that marries her love of design from the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s with her signature modern femininity.  With Love Lingerie is about evoking glamour and intimacy through underpinnings that are made and worn with love.  Instead of offering the anonymity of big box brands, With Love sells in the intimate setting of lingerie boutiques across Canada, US and Britain. The company is proud of its high quality and that the collection is manufactured solely in Canada.
