In an attempt to punish those whose practise the queer arts, a corrupt government force has enslaved and tortured all those deemed “dangerous to society”. The last of their kind, The Coven clan must utilize all the elements of vogue movement to conjure an inner strength to free themselves from social injustice in this dystopian future. Showcasing designer Evan Clayton from Vancouver, “REVENANT” is an electrifying runway performance that merges dark elements of fashion, music and dance .

ARTIST BIO

“The Coven” is a vogue collective comprised of three queer male artists from across the country. Ralph Escamillan (FakeKnot), Ross Wirtanen (RiaToss Productions) and Kevin Fraser (Immigrant Lessons) are all highly distinguished and versatile dancers / choreographers within their hometowns of Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON. With an innate passion for LGBTQ arts and culture, the “unholy trinity” strives to cultivate the growing Canadian vogue and ballroom scene by hosting community dance classes, workshops and balls .Their macabre sense of theatre, editorial fashion and gender-bending are woven into entertaining live performances that elevate this expressive underground dance style.
