The concept behind the brand Silent Simon is to question everything you see. Through art and fashion, Simon portrays a story of a person who seems to be the root cause behind everything but is actually never affiliated with anything. Nowadays, we live in a world where first impressions make or break the perceptions of others. Everything we see, hear, feel, or experience in the first encounter shapes how we process the rest of the information. Silent Simon is an art and a movement rather than just a regular brand, emphasizing a deeper understanding of peoples’ surroundings and why things are the way they are. Silent Simon focuses on delivering a unique mix of streetwear with contemporary art, ultimately combining the two into fashion.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Silent Simon® was established in 2019 by Jonathan Guirguis and Youssef Henien. Jonathan is currently a student at the University of Toronto studying Architecture and Visual Studies while Youssef is a student at McMaster University studying Business and Finance. Jonathan and Youssef have been very close friends for years and both share a genuine passion for fashion and streetwear and aim to take their brand to the next level. Taking inspiration from characters in the music and art industry, such as Travis Scott and Virgil Abloh, they learn to portray their opinions and values through their work. Jonathan and Youssef aim to display their perception of the world through Silent Simon and the work produced by the brand. They have also been involved in other clothing brands in the past, but the one that really resonated with them is Silent Simon. Jonathan and Youssef are value driven individuals that aim to make a difference in the world through art and fashion.
