THE VISION
As a multidisciplinary and multi-dimensional artist, Borelson has always been interested in cross-platform experiences, innovation and boldness. He has been creating multi-media productions in music videos and during live performances. For Fashion Art Toronto, Borelson will take it to a whole new level, with an experience involving sound, lights, images/videos, runway, models and a collaboration with three Toronto streetwear brands to create a multi faceted, immersive music, fashion and performance spectacle. A unique experience that will leave a long lasting memory with the audience.
BORELSON
Borelson is a multi-disciplinary artist, based in Toronto. After a bilingual (English/French) upbringing in central Africa (DR Congo & Gabon) and Paris where he performed and modelled at some fashion shows, he decided to take the leap of faith and settle down in the 6ix, despite having no friends or family here.
But his drive and interpersonal skills made him grow his network and fan-base rapidly: Indeed, in less than two years, Borelson has successfully been able to act in 5 short-films including one being premiered at the very first edition of Nuit Blanche Scarborough, to perform at festivals and venues such as Afrofest, Nuit Blanche, Unity Hip-Hop and the Drake Hotel.
As a Daniel Artscape Launchpad member (the top-notch incubator for creatives), Borelson is currently working on an album, centered on the power of visualization, Afrofuturism and/in Hip-Hop, set to be released for S2 2019.
